For people looking for an Invisalign dentist to correct their smile, All Smiles Family Dentistry provides Invisalign aligners as an excellent option. The Invisalign method straightens teeth without needing metal brackets and wires like conventional braces by employing a set of computer-generated, personalized plastic aligners. Each set of aligners is made to slightly alter how the teeth are positioned.

Your teeth will gradually and softly reposition themselves when you change sets of aligners every two weeks. To ensure your smile is developing as intended during treatment, you will also visit our office frequently. We will decide if you are a good candidate for Invisalign treatment during your initial appointment.

Adult patients and anyone looking for an almost undetectable orthodontic procedure, frequently make this procedure their first choice. Because Invisalign aligners are built to order from smooth, thin plastic, they are not just discrete but also highly comfortable.

Additionally, because the aligners are removable, you can take them out whenever you need to eat, brush your teeth, or floss. To learn more about Invisalign clear aligners, we invite you to call or stop by our office right now.

In general, Invisalign aligners can be used to treat the same orthodontic issues that are normally treated with braces. At All Smiles Family Dentistry, our dentist may recommend Invisalign treatment to correct:

Crowded teeth

Crooked teeth

Gapped and spaced teeth

Certain problems with the bite, such as an overbite, open bite, underbite, or crossbite

What is the Invisalign Treatment Process?

Invisalign treatment starts with a consultation at All Smiles Family Dentistry. During this appointment, your provider completes an oral exam, reviews your medical history, and asks about your goals for treatment. Next, your provider evaluates your smile and takes a series of digital impressions.

Your provider uploads your impressions to a computer and maps out a precise, customized digital treatment plan. After creating a blueprint for the step-by-step movements of your teeth, your provider sends your impressions to a dental laboratory that manufactures your first set of Invisalign aligners.
To achieve the best possible results, you wear your aligners for 20-22 hours each day. Every 1-2 weeks, you return to All Smiles Family Dentistry, and your provider gives you a new set ofaligners. Slowly but surely, your teeth straighten and move into place.

How Long Does it Take to See the Results of Invisalign?

The length of Invisalign treatment depends on the severity of the orthodontic issues that need correcting. However, most people finish treatment in 12-18 months.
Make sure to follow your dentist’s instructions carefully and attend all of your follow-up appointments. Your commitment is key to the success of treatment.
